Abba Father, Glorious King! Today we remind ourselves that You fight our battles. The worldly powers and demonic spirits stand no chance against our King Christ Jesus. Therefore let us not feel anxious because You are in control. In our weakness You are our strength, our rock and cornerstone. Almighty God you are sovereign and will do good all the time. Let us wait patiently for Your will. When we ask for our daily bread, we need to understand that Your promise is always fulfilled and that You will never abandon us. It’s Your timing God not ours. Let us pray like Daniel, constantly walking in step with the Holy Spirit. When we are weak You are our strength. We love You and Praise you in all circumstances. I ask this in the almighty name of Christ Jesus, Amen.

My wife Maria (Maya) is in a lot of pain down her spine and around the sides. We do not know what it is and need prayer urgently. She even has trouble walking and getting any good sleep due to the pain being unbearable at times. We know Jesus knows exactly what is going on and that he loves her. Praise God, Delyse is safely on U.S. soil and back at school. Please pray for the people and leaders in Ecuador as they deal with the unrest and danger associated with the organized crime drug gangs that have seemingly overrun the country.

Please pray for safety and peace for Delyse Howard, who is in Ecuador with a humanitarian team from her university. There has been a spike in organized crime gang violence and kidnappings across the country, which caused President Noboa to declare a state of emergency this past Monday (1/8). According to Dave Howard, Boston College is working on getting the students out of the country. The U.S. Embassy is monitoring the situation. Pray that Delyse will lean on Jesus and have opportunities to share Jesus with others around her.
