I do like reading what others have answered.
I wish I could echo Tom Courain’s statement, that he is totally surrendered. I find my wanting to do what I want to do continuing.
One of the questions at the end of the chapter asks if you could echo Habakkuk’s prayer. I continue to be impressed with how personalized God’s dealing with people is. I feel often pretty cowardly. So I hesitate to say that I would hold firm when facing devastation. I believe that God knows me and that I can rest assured that He will deal with me appropriately.
